I have a lot of opinions on this but basically wow.
This started off weird, at first I though ew this is just another one of those awful manga with unrealistic body standards, but then the story began to get a bit more interesting because of how falling for a female friend was represented. It was weird I won’t lie, the tall girl’s way of trying to guilt-trip the short one into staying by her and not “leaving” her for the guy, was just so stupid. It hurt to see simply because of how frustrating the situation was, I’m still not sure of whether the short one fully developed romantic feelings for her or it was just out of not wanting the tall one to leave her. However I enjoyed some parts of the manga, though the plot began to spiral after the first 40 chapters or so, they started introducing characters out of nowhere and the earthquake thing was just very out of place. I still laughed throughout it many times and smiled at some of the situations, it kind of reminded me of Big mouth. There were sexual situations that made me feel uncomfortable and many of them were straight up sexual harassment, some of them tried to be cute but it came off as predatory. Nonetheless, the drama of the overall story was intriguing, there was always something new constantly coming up and that made it easy to stay engaged. I can’t say I hated it but it wasn’t easy to enjoy, I have no regrets for reading it and I think the ending was weird but went along well with the initial stupidity shown from the tall girl. It was random for her to get pregnant from who we were introduced to as a homosexual man, and strange for the author to bring him together with the girl. Anyway I’m just rambling, I rate the manga a 8/10, it’s a high rating for something so badly written but the characters did grow on me.
