I can absolutely see that Enji is trying to be better. He really is, and good for him. But I still cant stand the man. He has done too much wrong and inflicted too much pain and suffering onto his family. He is either the direct or slightly indirect cause of his first born's supposed death, he neglected his two middle children in favor of his youngest in order to "train" him, which let's be honest, was just straight up abuse. his actions deteriorated his wife's psyche to the point that she had a temporary lapse in sanity and accidentally burned and scarred their child, who even at such a young age, knew to blame his abusive father rather than his victim mother.
As far as I can see, the only real redemption Enji will have is by being seriously injured before other pros/ the new intern gang come to rescue him in a fight against dabi.
I realize my phrasing was confusing, so I think Dabi will reveal himself to be Touya to Endeavor, who will stop really fighting. He starts holding back and slipping up, because he doesn't want to lose him again, and he thinks maybe the rest of his family will be happier without him anyway. At the last moment, backup comes and fights Dabi off, but because Enji couldn't bring himself to hurt his long lost son, I think he'll finally be redeemed, having finally proven to be a changed man
