Sorry, I don't think so. The only novel I found is a Chinese fanfiction of this manhua. The author of the fanfiction claimed that there is no original novel, Hualongji came up as a manhua from the beginning.

It was the same website that i had seen other novels get updated on so I assumed it was a novel itself and not a fanfic. I dont know chinese and google translate sucks so i just assume it was a novel and not a fanfi
I guess the site is jjwxc, its the biggest Chinese BL novel site. Btw I don't speak Chinese either, (￣∇￣"), it's just that the fangirls in my community are lucky to have sth slightly better than google translate to translate Chinese to our language. There are 2 fanfictions on jjwxc. One is finished and set in the same universe with the manhua. The other is ongoing with a modern student-teacher relationship. Haven't read either but think the modern setting idea is very cute. The manhua also has an extra chapter set in modern life with the cunning master as a tutor and Qiongtian is his funny delinquent student. I hope to read more extras like that.

Thanks and i feel ya. The website i use to use to see the raws always give me pop up ads every five seconds and it would take me 1 hr to read a 18 page chapter cause the ad wont stop pop up and would always leed me to some porno website so i gave up reading it overall
