The empress position has always been occupied by Blanche. Ludmilla's position is that of a Queen consort but translation here says they're both empresses so it can be confusing.
The crown prince is the second prince Trudy, well because he's an alpha and in their empire only Alphas and omegas can inherit the throne and betas can't which is the same but different with Etienne's where omegas can't inherit but betas can. I remember Renato mentioning Etienne's empire in the story, and the events of Etienne's story happens first before Renato's btw.
Also Khalid is not an emperor, he's a grand prince. He was mentioned as an emperor here but he's not. (Well he was at one point a King but that's spoiler territory)

I'm pretty sure people did notice before but this has been bothering me for awhile and lol I was rereading the side stories but I can't help but feel like there's something different when I went back and reread. So turns out there's a subtle change in art from the first 11 side stories and the current side stories 2. And I had to open up a chapter of each batch of sides side by side and yep there is some small changes. Yeah I just noticed them now.
So... what are the small changes?
Yirim's hair and eyes , his hair, how do I explain it it's lest spikier and less protruding than before? The proportions of the faces for both Yirim and Cheongho. They are really small changes. Cheongho has like a wide and long chin and small eyes but now its more balanced out, I think Yirim's is also balanced out, its less noticeable for Yirim since Yirim has larger eyes. Again they're really small changes.
Yeah I noticed to but I just thought it was some minor changes in the art style (my brain just kinda skipped it ig), I like how they draw them now, even better! The art is so cute and bubbly!

Seongwoon (ML) eventually did say sorry to Yeonwoo(MC). SW did try to jump off the hospital building because he felt like he was all alone now cause even his aunt stopped visiting him but Yeonwoo stopped him. SW felt grateful and apologized to MC and they became close again. SW wanted to repay YW for being there for him. He noticed that YW was too devoted to him he asked if YW liked him and YW did say he did but SW asked if he liked YW back but YW just smiled and said that he likes SW. SW didn't think that he liked YW back so they stayed friends, they went to SW parents grave and visited his house. YW then admitted his grandma into a nursing home as her dementia worsens she often calls YW by her sons name (YW's dad who abandoned them) . And SW confessed to YW he told him that though he couldn't remember their past what matters is the present and if YW could accept that. YW decided to stay as friends as he was pretty devastated that the two people he cared about forgot him when his grandma was diagnosed with dementia and SW's amnesia. YW said that the memories SW forgot saved him so he couldn't answer the current SW. SW and YW didn't meet after that but with his grandma's worsening dementia and the current SW, he felt so alone he overdosed on the medication given to him for his depression, he left a note and packed his important belongings. SW found him because he recovered his memories and wanted to tell YW and YW was saved, SW though tried to follow YW with his wrist which YW noticed and felt guilty for. SW told him that if YW were to disappear he would disappear first because he would truly have nothing left if YW was gone but realized that if he was gone first then YW would have no one by his side to take care of him. It took awhile for YW to recover and afterwards, SW encouraged him to study again, so they started living together also SW taught YW's grandma YW's name since she forgot and kept mistaking YW for her son. YW apologized to his grandma for blaming her when he was a kid. YW and SW visit her every saturday and took her to trips. Then it was the side stories of their college life.
I summarized it as best as I can. SW is gonna be pretty mean to YW for awhile but he did apologize to mc later and at most he just shoos away mc like a prickly hedgehog, since he found it weird why a friend of only 4 months would take a long mile for him.
