"Sasaki and Miyano" is a good example of this. It's a bl that isn't overly sexualizing or too heavy, two tropes that are more common in older bls that I have seen. Another issue with some bl is that it is overly emphasized that they are gay, like you start to feel yourself thinking "we get it already."
