i think i changed my mind. the first time i read this i felt that even if he met the doctor first and had been with him, its not guaranteed that he will have a happier life. after all, jiang was also like that in the beginning of their relationship.

however, after reading the novel, zhishu said that jiang met him when he was still pretty and young (at this best) while doctor ai met and loved him at his worst state. it goes to show that in another life, had he actually gotten to medical school, met doctor ai at the right age and both of them falling in love, he would have dealt with less heart aches. he might not have disappointed his parents the way jiang and him did because he is already an established working person. and even if he and doctor ai split ways, i believe that it will not be the way jiang ever did.

jiang got drunk in power. he had nothing then had everything. in the novel he would often be described as bossy and tyrant, it’s because when he became president he had the power to do so now. unlike doctor ai who had been wealthy to begin with. not saying it is a 100% guaranteed that doctor ai will be faithful to zhishu forever if they were the couple to begin with. just saying that i think he will not sleep around and keep zhishu in the dark, kept at home and take him away from his family.

also, i hate everyone who turned a blind eye to jiang’s infidelity . i think its hypocritical of jingwen to be THAT angry. likeee he also didnt do anything when zhishu was still there. the fuck?

Honestly love the interaction between the 4, s2 was a bit depressing and they can't communicate AT ALL. So many thoughts and walking on egg shells scene. But I get where they're coming from, I hope Jaeha gets better and have more fun being with Hyun eventually

I got hooked bc i thought it was going to be as interesting as Interview with a Murderer or even that one manhwa who also had a psychopath seme that kills and couldn't understand the feeling of love or wtv. I really thought inseob would be a good conman or his timid personality would only be for a show and the backstory would be solid (it was kinda good but not enough) But i guess now I'm just reading to see the art and laugh at the cringey lines of the seme.

I have a lot of thoughts about this manga but i can't express my thoughts very well but for me

-kirishima makes the story interesting. sometimes i like him sometimes i hate him.
-he made yoshino look more badass
-shouma is a better person than kirishima but kirishima looks after yoshino better ex: on daily basis, yoshino is the one taking care of shouma most of the time whereas kirishima could notice yoshino's habits (ch 11.6 pg 15) and does these little things to help her. He knows what to do on emergency situations like when she has a cold or looking after the warranty of the hair dryer when it was broken. Maybe shouma could also do that but the way kirishima could observe every little thing is both creepy and amazing at the same time.
-Shouma helps yoshino with fights and all but then he also lacks that area compared to kirishima. Isn't that why they let yoshino be close to kirishima so that he could protect her in the future?
-i don't trust kirishima's love. i knew that he's gonna fuck round but it still disgusted me how he casually proclaims his love then have sex with other (plus treat them also like lover) for information or whatever. he might get bored of yoshino in the future although he says he won't.
-im not rlly shipping yoshino and kirishima (bc he's fucked up on many ways sooo glad yoshino can handle him) but i like their dynamics better.
