I think this is like the most realistic story of falling in love with a demon. I like when the author doesn’t sugarcoat how fucking horrible and despicable he is and js straight up says the horrible crimes this demon has committed bcs he’s literally a demon. I actually rlly like the characters and the way they’re written especially our girl who is firm with her beliefs and like actually is able to continuously remind herself that he's js a demon. Lowkey if it was me id have already given in to the manipulation. The story is tragic for her and idk maybe for him kinda?? Tbh her treating him badly is all his fault so whatever, but I rlly do feel bad for her and her circumstances and im glad the author doesn’t fail to remind us shes a victim and shit even as she is slowly falling for the demon. For how taboo this topic is, the author sort of deals with it well.
Holy shit u have no idea how shocked I was when Marin didnt know Seul and Casar met bcs I tht it was part of her plan. Their love for eo genuinely transcended time and Marin plans and thats insane to me considering how meticulous she is. As much as I hate the empress and Marin for literally what they did, I can’t fault either of them bcs it truly seemed they actually cared and loved eo alot even when they were at death and Marin literally destroyed everything the empress built, it seemed all she wanted in the end was Marin back. Same cld be said with Marin js hating how much she enabled the empress to get to that point. There cld be a whole doomed yuri on js them both abt how the empress was a horrible person and Marin was her enabler, like truly in a sickening way they parallel our main couple with their accidental meeting from the mistake of a genius and twisted fate afterwards.
Aside from that this story was so good and absolutely perfectly executed. I think to me the romance was the most perfect bcs Casars absolute devotion to our girl even after she tried so hard to get him to be happy for himself, god it was js perfect. And also her gaining hope and quite literally NOT GOING EVIL all bcs of his BODY WARMTH?? Little random at first until they explained it was the hope of her feeling loved and then it made sense. This story is so tragic and rlly well executed the immortality and time travel elements like perfectly. I also love the underlying messages it teaches you and god this story was js an insane rollercoaster. Characters are all used so well and explained in the best ways possible and god this story for how short it is made such good use of it’s world building and vast number of powers and characters without being too complex. Bcs at the end it overall rlly js started from two besties fucking it up too hard fr.
Take me back to a time when I didn’t read this and let me re experience it all over again. Genuinely cried so hard when Casar realized she remembered him and their past. Their devotion to help eo be happy is amazing and Im so happy they get to be tgt with Daeun my baby.
Oh my god i cannot express how this is the most PERECT FUCKING LOVE STORY EVER!!! Omg i cant they are so perfect for one another and this truly cldv ended up so tragic but it didn't and im so happy but its just perfect. A love so strong for each other that one wants to kill and the other is willing to be killed. I am not lying when I say the shit Dosung was saying had me DOWN BAD. Hes so insanely in love with her and wanting to kill and harm her like god that kinda love is so insane. Its like having cuteness aggression max 100. Whats even cuter is when he said tht although quite literally his biology wanted him to genuinely kill her his love for her outweighed that. Like thats so insane. Dont even get me started on my girl bcs shes so loving and perfect i never once doubted she wld run away from him. The devotion and love she has for him is insane while also still being perfectly badass and strong in her own ways. Like if my man told me he wanted to kill me over and over again id be shitting my pants and my girl was like “he js confessed fr”. Shes the truest non chalant lover out there I admire her and aspire to reach that typa devotion. This story in general rlly fleshed out the different archetypes and characters pf their world and I love how everyone was well described and perfectly made and still understandable to the “type” they were assigned. I esp love how they trick us into thinking maybe Lee liked Dosung but she stays pure to her type as a perfect example of a destroy. Really this story is my perfect cup of tea that balances out a obsessive love story without making the female lead super weak or making the guy an crazy abusive asshole. Bcs this story rlly treaded the line with that and show us how easily it cldv turned into that but that's js not how the character ls
are and its perfect. I am going to read this over and over until I die. Im quite literally a shut for this story.

I’ve never rlly liked the women dominating trope bcs idk it was js never my thing but this single-handedly changed me as a person and my sexual preferences will now never be the same ever again, her js dominating him in this way was js so different from what i usually saw and its js so perfect and well done. Ive never been more devastated and absolutely destroyed by such an amazing story. Both of them coming from such horrible circumstances and never having anyone else aside from one another, this trope is genuinely one of my favorites. I love the realism of their characters, such as Lewellyns very simple minded thinking and his development, first starting off as this creepy genius mastermind in the beginning to simply a man who wants to find the only person who’s ever treated him as one. Shavonne was such a complex character with such a range of emotions that were so well written out, every action and flaw and every hurt yet love he caused. The eventual realization that he shldnt fear having only Lewellyn, that he shld stop running away and finally facing his life. The way they suffered so mich throughout the story due to circumstances they had no control over, and het despite it all through their unending love for one another they were able to survive and live an actually good life, is beyond me. So many chances for Shavonne to have done the wrong thing, so many times Lewellyn cldve started resenting Shavonne in the beginning for the way he turned on him, and yet they were so true to one another despite the otherworldly pressure and pain it caused. I love the initial wave of Shavonnes fear of being in love with a serial killer or having his doubts about Lewellyn in the beginning of their relationship, to loving Lewellyn so unconditionally and easily even after all his memories came back, falling for Lewellyn was as easy as seeing him as human, and i think its so beautiful. And the undoubtedly human way Lewellyn loves Shavonne, loyal and overprotective, and yet he was never truly “tamed” like the dog the guards wanted him to be. He didnt hug that pillow, he didnt stop waiting, and he definitely didnt stop worrying or loving Shavonne even if Shavonne told him and wanted him to. The guards so wholeheartedly believed that Lewellyn wldn js become some loyal mutt to Shavonne who they cld control, but Lewellyn loved so much like a human despite how he was conditioned to be, and i love the story for so deeply emphasizing that. Everything about this story is perfection and I love the way the author never truly bothered to flesh out a character aside from our main ones, bcs at the end of the day Lewellyn and Shavonne only ever had eyes for each other and so the author would not care to think and develop anyone else but them. Author absolutely cooked with this one its such an amazing and rare thought out piece of literature with so many touches of mystery and romance all so intertwined intensely and work so well with one another. I fear i will never find another story like this ever again. Absolute kudos author
