This is like my second or third time reading this story and to this day nothing can top its amazing show of love and dedication. And the absolute angst of love between a person with immortality and a mortal. It genuinely hurts me especially since i lowkey wanted just a tiny reunion between Lily and her parents, bcs tbh thats how their relationship was like. Also i know the ending was perfect but i still crave like more about their love and more side stories. I wonder if Philippa is human now or if shes still a witch. Lowkey i hope shes a human.
The fact that ppl gave this such low stars proves just how tiny their reading comprehension and patience is bcs this story is soo well built and full of fleshed out characters with unique and understanding backgrounds. Everyone dropped it all cause of the guy in the first chapter “not being the mc” and didn’t even give it until 20 chapters to be fully released for them to see that in this story there are no mc’s. Everyone here is the main character and god its wonderful. This is by far one of the best written stories ever, no villains no heros no anti heros none of that, just pure humans who unfortunately were granted powers in a miserable world. This has become one of my favorite stories ever just from the characters alone and then theres also the plot and story building which is so consistent i love it. Its a very thought out story that makes it obvious everything was planned from top to bottom. Definitely worth the read!

I can't take how cute and dumb he is. Also I'd like to point out how he never gets an initial reaction to crimes until people call it out and say it's a horrible or an evil deed. He's a legit sociopath, and he's friends with that girl because she's a big empath and helps him identify people who are evildoers. This can also be proven how he kills them through the way they've tortured people, because he knows what they did was bad (he doesn't actually know its bad he just believes it is because other people say so) so he’s doing it to them too. He believes that doing this is good because, hey, they're being put into "justice". Which I can say, yeah, they deserve hell. But if we look at it in a real life view, he's evil as fuck (obviously) . He can't tell from good and bad and is only following what others say, especially from the empathetic girl. This also shows how his other duality of being a somewhat innocent cinnamon roll of a man he is, just really matches his inability to understand wrong and right. Love how the author really shows this with how he didn't care about the homeless man until the girl said it was a horrible act. I can't believe I only noticed this now, absolutely love it!
This Manga is such a wonderful read! Their trust and bond with each other is impeccable, they're literal soul mates! It's so wholesome and wonderful and I absolutely love their interactions! Please read this, I am completely addicted and currently sobbing because I seriously want more! I can't get enough, ive screenshot almost every scene. An absolute 100/10
