It's still a spoiler, maybe it won't ruin the experience for you, but it could for others. it means you also reveal what their relationship has developed to. Maybe next time, use a spoiler tag (▰˘◡˘▰)

Still, I assume that someone who apparently read ahead told you or you found it on the internet? so it still will count as a spoiler, you could be wrong of course, but I would think you only mentioned it in the first place since you believed it was true?
