I think everybody was relatively shocked to have Casel grow up and basicly marry in just a chapter or 2 same with Leah, the authors definitely rushed into the ending, however it's still good don't get me wrong but the buildup to the romance is very much rushed.
For readers you must understand how they feel about reading about a time skip that was rushed through, it is unsettling to a lot of the readers who just watched their baby grow Casel run around in one chapter and grow up and marry in Again a one of 2 chps.
I get that the authors basicly already resolved the orignal family conflict and it is very hard to go onward after that however they should slowed the pace down with Casel and Leah. They couldve transitioned with Leah and Casel's dynamic more easily so that it not only helps the readers, but smoothen the story. For example a Casel POV or Leah's POV that features a chapter on their teens or child or something that builds them up to adulthood because depsite being adults they act like kids.
Overall i didn't have a bad opinion on the last few chapters on Casels and Leah's love, other then the reuse of misunderstanding throughout every freaking love, Jesus christ it's like everybody is stupid sometimes but otherwise it's decent or better depending on the readers opinion tbh
