When you think chasing arc is over but turns out it's only the start anyways, that's jk first line of thought, it wasn't finished, relax , in chapters that showed his suffering, the author didn't show much of his thoughts sans the lustful ones., and I don't think he was already in repentance since he still and denial phase right now., like Jaekyung was gouging how much importance Kim Dan has in his life after seeing him again in person rather than the Kim Dan in his mind like it would give him clarity.. Jk isn't even on the acceptance phase yet and still checking if he really has feelings for Doc Dan
Dang this manhwa is hell... You know shounen genre? Never ending action., it's like that but now it's romantic horror., this manhwa is nuts I swear., I was getting chills and getting afraid for the FL at their first encounters because there doesn't seem to have any place of solace, since one with authority and one with money is unknowingly chasing her., Ah I retract my word since Roger is the peace she might have wanted too, but with crown prince power as he burned Roger's house it's kinda hmm.. they seemly don't stand a chance.. well unless they moved to another country, but then Arnold is the next problem since he can reach them using every means of his wealth and connections.. Can't log out, cannot reach an ending, the rational in me couldn't find her an escape route and I was frustrated like damn but also glad I wasn't in her situation

Dan stayed the night with granny after having that bad dream because he was afraid it might happen., he wasn't the type of person to care for himself, (rather., people who put others before themselves) so I guess that's where jaekyung appears back in his life, another soul Dan needs to take care of, so he can so stride unto new chapter of living another day., ( Dan seems like the type of person to devote their life for someone else and view that as "living" nothing wrong with that, it's just he needs literally 'someone else' to function or to feel that he has a purpose in life so he feel alive)
Iirc from the spoiler the ardal 30 years ago was his mother., so what happened might be, that house bagot ( his family that persillion killed) faked their child as an ardal and became empress even with the lies., now for whatever reason if the emperor was aware or not, they made him and persillion's mother meet and do the deed, so a royal blood and ardal blood would actually be produced, which is currently persillion
This author is good at making their character like real, you know people changes all the time and whatnot, they aren't bound to stay the same in regards to the situation at hand, but of course it's hard to tell a story like that, as stories has certain need of a character to further the plot., But the author succeeded with flying colors.,
The author's other story, they kinda hate uke from vol 2 which is I guess understandable, but then again, the character was staying true, and rather than act to save their relationship as priority, the uke acted like normal people in which they weren't the only people in this whole world, and what matters was the situation at hand that time (he accidentally burned a seme rival he ended up staying as a housekeeper for him for a few days) so he did the right thing., Like it's easier to choose a path for the plot but the characters are written so well almost like they were living and hard carrying the plot
It's quite amazing how much plot unfolded within 43 chapters tho., usually other manhwas will have this much at chapter 120 something., and I like how the author is trying to explain why each of their character is like that, I also think they're trying to convey a message with their writing as it already strike thrice., it's interesting, even misunderstanding events are well rounded before it got overboard but not feeling empty after it was solved because they go to the next plot unfolded xD within 43 chapters xD
