Why do I kinda feel like the MC's going to end up being the "disaster"?
Could be. I was thinking about it too when his dad mentioned it. He's too OP.
Although he could also be the nemesis of the disaster. We do not know if there are other players that can level up. And the coincidence that his dad knows about the real war and stuff.
His dad could prepare him for that war (if they get reunited in the future).

there is so many things that could end their world.
at the beginning, though, they showed that the MC teaming up with others to fight what seems to be a final battle of some sort
naaah, he's the savior of humanity... in this crazy fight between 7 rulers and 9 monarchs, he's the shadow monarch
that giant ants were meh, but still an important arc, because he acquired his best shadow soldier there, the king of ants, Ber or Ver

The use of facial expressions combined with Edd's internal monologue convey the emotions *fantastically*, the story's so immersive

every episode just makes me think "so cool" lol I don't normally like this type of story but I'm really enjoying this one for some reason
