Uhm, no, she’s a fucking dumbass, and he’s the poor guy stuck with her. How in hell is he a player ? He explained the situation to her multiple times, as did other people, yet she persisted in her own delusion. He even believes that she dislikes him, so he wouldn’t count on playing with her « because he knew » she couldn’t leave him.

He was a player because he knew, i'll repeat it again, he knew that his wife was like that because she was jealous. He didn't do anything why? Because he also knew she love him enough to act up the way she is acting, to be the villain. Yes she was a stupid ass lady, but he could've told his wife that "hey, my cousin will stay here because he was in love with my bestfriend and if you are uncomfortable because we are living in a world/time where people are legal to marry their cousin, i will not stay close enough to make you jealous"

He wasnt, but he didn't told his wife that too. He waited until everybody is mad at his wife before he told her.

I’m not saying the guy is perfect, although he did try to explain things to her as did other people, but to say everything is his fault, that in fact he’s a « player » who’s « bullshitting her », is completely unfair. And frankly, if it were a guy being that jealous, to the point where the woman would have to distance herself from family members (and who knows, maybe in the future any person of the opposite sex), I’m pretty sure you guys wouldn’t support him. Which would be right, because no matter the reason and intent, that is called an abusive / unhealthy relationship, and blaming the victim is not exactly an attitude I appreciate.

can we all just say most the characters are idiots cause most of them knew what was going on and did nothing and the dumb ass girl didn't know anything so made her life worse for people who are not worth it

1. fl isn't making the guy distance him self from family since she legit thought they were in love so she distanced her self, i mean legally they could have married and the maids/workers were talking about it in that way
2. butler knew and didn't do shit

there is so much unnecessary drama that could have been avoided, THIS would have been much more interesting if even when she loved him she should have some kind of not 'pride' in a sense but value herself more. So instead of becoming a 'b i t c h' she could have just said 'looks like you love her so don't mind me' and then the problem would have been solved and if it didn't the author could have still had her 'pitiful' scenes

Actually this will become a double standard but for me, in my opinion the reason why guys can't do the same in mangas and novels with the exception od yaois (acting jealous and stuff) is because of difference in... power? Force? I don't know what to call it. It's like, generally, i repeat generally, men can do more damage (punching, slapping, pushing, shoving) even if it is towards other men. I'm a woman so I don't really understand the dynamics of jealous men but uh based on my experience, the worst I saw with men fighting for a women was stabbing.
