Kirino is a straight transgender girl and Mishima is a gay cisgender boy. There was no way they would ever end up together romantically. I'm saying this because it seems like there's some confusion in the comments.

It would have been adorable if they could have lived together as roommates in Tokyo while being their true selves though. Alas Kirino didn't get that chance.
