So teacher student stories can really be a hit or miss. Personally, I tend to like them more when the uke is the teacher. But there was something about this teacher that I wish he had more screen time. The kid was okay, an interesting character but, what if, and this is just a thought, the teacher and the main character uke. Hot right? *fantasizes* okay i wanna see that.

That would be too hot. I feel like the teacher would have better chemistry with the MC uke rather than a overly feminine one. Imagine that scene switched; Version 1: Uke is about to get raped, hesitant about what to do, teacher saves him.
Version 2: Uke seems like he's about to be raped, teacher wants to save his 'pretty-faced student' then "POW!" Rapists get knocked out by uke and sensei can't help but see hearts as uke calmly walks off. Waahh... Yes, I fantasize too...
So i read this waaayyyy back in my freshman year of highschool or maybe in middle school. None the less, it's been like 4 or 5 years since then and holy crap does this story make more sense. Well, i knew the plot line and twists and whatever. But it wasn't until reading it when Im older that I realize oh f*cking SAD this story is!!!
So i read this a few years ago and I remember that I really liked King but he kinda confused me...This time though, he just acted like a possessive brat. Like almost on the same level as Ace... I don't know. Maybe its because i've read a shit ton more yaoi in the years and grown up more but eh. Still a pretty good manga
I know what you mean!! i used to love king...then i re-read this and now i think he was just being really selfish but, in my opinion, they were all kind of selfish ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Wah I think everybody who rereads this has the same opinion... maybe because you know what will happen thus you see the whole thing in a different light
Actually it had been like 3-4 years since I read it and I can't count how many yaoi and other manga I've read in the time. All I remembered was that I cried a lot when king passed. But that's it. O.o
I've only read one other of this mangaka's work and i really like it, but this one takes the cake. It is not overpowered with sex and not drowned in plot but has an amazing balance of everything!!! TWENTY THOUSAND STARS!!!!!!!
Ive only read this once but I swear I will never forget the story. It's so unique and well done I recommend it to EVERYONE
