Hold up! Remember they can't afford more than one butler let alone guards. That's why they had to be extra careful because they couldn't afford security or stuff like that. Like other noble families do. That's why she's like really fitting old dresses and they have to make their own food and they're basically working hard trying to look like they're keeping up with the riches and elegance as other Noble families.
