How come these short stories are more engaging, with plot like this one, pretty sure it could have made a good story with 70+ chapters, wanted to see some mafia in action.....

From what i remember: Him, cirrus’ mom and cirrus used to be a very happy family, until the mom died. When that happened he tried to raise cirrus but cirrus being a kid who just lost his mom was a little difficult, it got so difficult for his dad to “deal with it” that he ended up crying in his room to his dead wife about “not being able to love cirrus anymore” and cirrus heard him. He started being a lot more distant with cirrus and later on got a new gf which cirrus didnt like. She didn’t like him either and yea it didn’t get better with time.

What I really like in this story is how understanding Minato has been regarding Shizuma's job and feelings infact hes also aware of his own insecurities and is trying his best to deal with it..........that's even more reason I don't want to see minato get hurt again and again.
right? and the fact that the director speaks without knowing anything passes me off #－.－)
