What an amazing plot, I really like how it has explored and touched the reality of how a human is when faced with nothingness and hopelessness. I don't understand why it's confusing but I really liked how it's going, it's deep also that old man he's in utter denial same as mc, I just don't like how he keep blaming his and his sons actions and choices on MC on the other hand MC is in denial about how pathetic a human can be both of them want freedom from their own demons and demons outside.
Waiting for update. it a slow progressing story but author has done a good job, loved the art.

the 36% is the possibility of winning the case against the judge that they're fit guardians for Mori. meaning they have a higher chance of LOSING Mori if they go by the official judgement.
& rider and AIA might not be willing to risk losing Mori so he's gonna... do what he knows best and find a less than legal way to save Mori before the judgement
Do you think he chose go alone because he thinks Miria woud still want to go through the proper procedure despite the low odds or because Miria has more to lose if she did went with him?
i think it's more on the fact that if Rider gets punished or something worse happens to Rider after he recues Mori, he doesn't want Miria to be implicated because he knows Miria is the only one who cares enough to raise Mori properly if he's not there anymore...
it could also be Rider attempting to contact the judge and surrender himself as the one who "kidnapped" Mori so he'll get blamed.
since remember, the main reason they took Mori is they suspected Miria hired rider to kidnap Mori while Shalam was weak. so Rider might be going to claim that it was his for his own interest and Miria isn't involved so Miria has a better chance of winning Mori back during the judgement
