Btw her brother has always been obsessed with her (starting from the new life)
so the biggest thing i want to remember is how much she just wanted to support the people from her previous life and make it better. this changes after rezef kills her nanny where she decides to offer up the rest of her life to the black garden to have the power to become emperor and protect herself. she no longer wants to make rezef’s life better, she hates him. before this she slowly stripped power away from rezef to make him less of a tyrant in the end. she first gets rezef’s lady’s in waiting kicked out to replace with her own people because they fed her something she’s allergic to. rezef’s poor management leads to a 10 day probation and had to transfer power over the maids to our girl. at the start of the probation, she challenges rezef’s advisor ((this is a muscatool that’ll be important later)) next, she finds a way to kick out the head lady and chef that were being used by duke heinrich ((they were embezzling)). all this happened all while duke kendrey is trying to request a meeting with her highness and to get her attention he builds a whole building in her honor. she’s like “boy wtf, set up a meeting” where they make plans to visit the academy. cut screen to rezef’s advisor talking to count gilbert ((the abusive husband from her previous life who is a stalker)) and the advisors like “oh dude the princess is going to be here with less guards AND you can use this safe house if you’re safe” gilbert is like “oh dip, ill get on that”. ((halfway mark, almost done!!!)) so after the princess befriends her little brother ((the illegitimate son between the emperor and concubine, can’t remember his name)) she gets kidnapped. luckily she sent lady olivia away after realizing the coachman was different so duke kenedry launches a search right away. rezef breaks his probation to find her. her highness is smart and causes discourse between her captors and then there’s the awkward moments with gilbert. anywho’s they’re found, rezef gets mad bc when she wakes up she calls for duke kendrey and not him and he’s like “she’s MINE WHORE”. he feels threatened by the nanny coming back bc he though she’d take her highness away from him so he sends men to off her. her highness and duke kendrey tried to save her but her highness ends up getting captured so nanny jumps off into a raging river. ANOTHER cut screen to his advisor (just remembered his name lol count evans) man is STRESSING so hard bc he’s a dumbass and ends up having to kinda make a deal with duke heinrich. back to our girl, her highness is distraught which leads to what i was saying in the start. sorry for yapping, there’s just a lot to cover ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
julie is count evan’s ((the advisor)) little sister. her main goal going to the capital was to bag a handsome man. count evan wants her to marry rezef and become empress. she’s totally naïve and vain but i don’t think she’s a terrible person

I still wanna know how her lives work y'all. Has she had a modern life already, and then reincarnated as cayena? If so, has she already lived cayena's life multiple times? Also it seems like in her previous life/lives she also experienced cayena's childhood so how come she didn't this time? Or is it just cayena's and her memories becoming one??
how it’s portrayed leads me to believe that she lived in modern times first and read the og book then was reincarnated as cayena. as the story progresses memories from the original storyline seep into her own memories so i feel like it truly is that cayena was her first life then modern time life then cayena again.
oh my god this is the most immersive manhwa i’ve ever read. i feel so much for all these characters. their wordage is consistent ((thank you translators, amazing work)) and the characters are so complex. it’s a joy to read even though it is hard when damien is being very verbal when he’s angry ((i don’t do anything dark romance lol))
i was worried it was going to be the cliche where she leaves in the dead of night and the ml searches for her for a couple years then when he finds her they live happily ever after. i’m so glad she chose to stay, i can’t wait to see yus’s constant courting
this is so refreshing compared to other food/drink based manhwas. i don’t feel overwhelmed by their critiques and they use good visuals to show feelings. its just so nice
