So the emperor can be at Taeyhuk's side as just a real brother. He is not mentally ill, abused, and obsessed with one thing. He is part of a family.
Taeyhuk and Hyo-un meet when both are adults and no child raising. Taeyhuk also wasn't cockblocked. So he has had a sex life on his own terms- with women and no marriage. I ain't mad. I am happy for this and that he didn't have men.

Did anyone else laugh at the end? The emperor must have some severe mental illness or PTSD. Maybe all the killing got to him. It is said he is going crazy. He is fixated on childhood itself, and Taehyuk reminds him of it I guess...the innocence of it? In the present time, they are true brothers and have that bond keeping them together so the anxiety and illness didn't develop. He also is not a murderer.
I wonder if it will play out that Taehyuk gets blamed for the stabbing by that backstabbing scarred guy now who has been revealed to want Taehyuk gone. So emperor dies right away, Taehyuk put for execution, and it is raining....so the dragon will come too late and.....

Like no aging or any love interests for Taehyuk? One night stands? Doesn't seem like the dragon is too keen on him being away for long so....I could believe 10 weeks or months.
What does the bro emperor want? Seriously. Obsessed how/what? It doesn't really say it. He gets rid of the friends, marriage aspects, etc. So....he can stare all day at Taehyuk...or be his only source of care/support? Like father figure? He's the damn emperor and has a whole nation depending on him already. So? He hasn't done any naughty touching, so I don't think he wants anything like that.

I don't normally bother to compare so much, but I suggest reading this part as well. There's missing more of internal thoughts/freaking out and Jay's threat is more intense.
The R15 ruins this. The sex scenes include dialog and emotions not here. The sex is the basis of the relationship to start with. Like. WTF R15. The sex faces they make are weird tho and Soheon especially... I read the entire R18 and the sex will still be important.
