I’d start with Shounen Ai or any Chinese yaoi manga besides Cry for Me, Circle is a possibility but it does have lite sex scenes.

This one is freaking adorable, though i think it has one sex scene (sorry its been a while since I've read it so I can't tell you the chapter ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ ). It has a cross dressing element (and I usually don't like yaoi like it) but it does it in a "non" annoying way (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I think "Love Stage" is a great starter manga form anybody. It also has an anime that is GOLD by the way, although I'd say that the plot is identical in both and the manga is farther.
