this just proves that no matter how much of a genius you are, all reason and panic control will truly be tested when you're forced to survive the fucking hunger games.
yeah... I'm questioning how the producers planted something in the participants' brains that prevents them from calling for help outside - excluding the police coz they "dealt with them". wtf is with that? did they give hush money? and you have Hina there questioning Shikishima why he didn't mention about their situation to his girlfriend when he called her. so I presume that the implanted shit in her brain malfunctioned coz she shouldn't even be asking that? tf.
also, my guy Fujio really be playing them dirty with the "I never said that the winner had to be one person..." when he literally asked them "Which one of you will be the winner?" 1=1. unless he really meant 1.5 and rounded it off to 2. fuck me. but, I guess this connects with how Shouta answered that Japan prefecture question. he really thought outside the box. good for you, Shouta. now, listen to the bluetooth signal from your clone and leave your cheating girlfriend right tf now.
my theory: as long as the clone lives, rl Shouta is connected via bluetooth brain connection with clone Shouta. they'll be fighting to the death for cheater Hina and for that job opening. but, they all end up dying. fin.
if you're the type of person who overlooks (willfully or not) the actual problems of the story and just wants your regular "hot seme-uke action", then this piece of work is for you.
After reading Manhwa/Manhua I noticed that it's really difficult to cram a story into 5 chapters. Some Mangas do accomplish that, but the majority of them don't have that. It's kinda sad since so many Mangas have really good concepts. This one has the potential of a 100+ chapter story since the author has so many storylines to explore.
in reference to the topics made under this manga, the most apparent and most overlooked issue is this. Clyde was introduced as a home invader turned r*pist just two chapters in. the sudden romantic relationship between them just days after does not excuse Clyde's arrestable actions. the VERY, VERY (can't emphasize this enough) least he could've done was to take accountability by apologizing to Sugimori - never did.
in conclusion, Clyde is a piece of shit.
Haha, for me lengthening a work is taking something like a shortstory, where everything is crammed and rushed, to a story with more space to develop a relationship/plot organically. In most of one volume manga everything just happens from one moment to another ot gives me whiplash. Like that stuff like dub-con and non-con can be left out.
reading this left me asking more questions and just assuming shit (lack of explanations). I knew Asahina was Shimobe's ally right from the get-go. didn't expect Miori was as well, I'd have to admit that (tho it was poorly done). I waited for Wada's death the most as he was the most violent character - ended up hating it. there were so many possibilities to do so, too. ugh, so displeased.
anyway... premise is new, afaik. and if you like fast-paced twists and revelations with relatively minimal gore, I suggest you give this a read.
this is a fucking masterpiece. I especially liked how my almost-favorite characters died before I fully liked them. ha ha ha...
I liked how the characters were varied, the over-crying was never a bother, and the romantic shit ain't being slapped around needlessly. plus, the ART IS TOP TIER.
Kawada undoubtedly shouldered the pre-ending chapters, salute. though I hated the ending chapter. then again, no ending has ever been a hundred percent satisfactory for me anyway.
I could've made a longer commentary, but I'm too broken. let this purposely fuck me in the head in one sitting. maybe another time.
oh yeah, almost forgot. fuck you, Kiriyama. and your superglued jacket. f u c k y o u.
