i have read so many harem manhwas, but honestly i think this takes the cake. i think one of the main points that make this harem so well is…
1. lack of/nonexistent sexualization. when the author makes the whole point of the side characters to be mere object of boosting the mcs ego to the reader, or there’s zero backstory or reason for liking the mc, you can immediately tell the sole existence for the girls is to fulfill some objective fantasy.
- this manhwa does suchhhhhh a great job at building STRONG and OP??? female characters with a really good backstory that not only make them more relatable, but each girl has her own charm and different dynamic with the mc. MOREOVER. THEY HAVE A VALID REASON TO LIKE THE MAN IN EACH OF THEIR OWN WAYS.
plus. i feel we get more fan service from jikks and ed which is amazing LMFAOOOOO
2. the mc is not a fucking weirdo! he is quite literally, a normal guy! withhhhhhh good character!
- ed has a really good storyline, and i love his outlook on things and the respect he holds for everyone. despite just focusing on survival, he can’t help but intervene in a way that considers all sides.
for ex, when lortelle and her maid (alice) were at odds, he still understands that he might not know the reasons the other maids may support alice, or whatever backstory, but he respects their reason for fighting. he truly believes in the characters, in his own way - which captures the hearts of the girls.
3. COOL FIGHTINGGGGGG
- i love it when a manhwa actually puts focus on cool fights. like thank u. the effort is appreciated.
i cant really think of more, but imo, the focus on side characters/ love interests as more than simply just romance is so important. it adds LIFE to the characters, and you get a better grasp of the whole story, while actually enjoying everything. i really respect this manhwa for doing that. i enjoy every single love interest, and i can’t help but root for each of them.

read chapters 1-2 and then skipped to 6 and you’re telling me they built all that guilty backstory for adam just to fucking discard it like nothing I HATE the red hair guy and him like this is so fucking weird why is everyone such a bitch - it would be different if there’s character development but no. they just. stay the same.
low-key did not expect myself to cry but this manhwa cooks so hard when it comes to tearjerking material. theres something so beautiful, so heart-warming, in letting yourself open up, even when its hard.
to rely on those around you, and to have someone listen, no matter how long or how tough the conversation it will be. i really like how despite not growing up with a strong foundation of family, young and old, both of the two have a person - whether that comes in the shape of a family member, or a lover, to be THERE. even if you don't have that person now, im sure someone will come along the way to show up in ways other people failed to.
i think thats something so beautiful to hope for, and even practice.
something abt this manhwa feels more enjoyable than the usual reincarnated into a baby - turn popular/successful trope… idk i really like it so far! it’s probably the way his character is so snarky maybe? i feel like he has a lot of personality so it’s a bit more interesting imo. he’s a bit of a troublemaker but in the way where he’s ambitious and how his other personality bleeds into the life he lives rn. hope for more to come!
I think that it's because he's more human and that it's all his hard work that's getting him this far, like there's no system that tells him what he should say or do it's just his own skill set instead. Like he doesn't have crazy super powers that can mind control people emotions to make them feel calm around him or an ability to read their minds and shit
