maybe it’s just because i resonate with the mc, but i don’t find this dramatic. maybe it seems this way because the people in haemus life actually are so incredibly thoughtful and kind - they’re taking ACTION.
in situations like these, others are usually all alone. the suffering is done in silence, and … ik how it feels like how haemus sister said, you can have everything - and still have that void of ache and pain inside of you. but in this manhwa, each personal relationship is so intertwined they’re bound to affect each other, and sprout into what people see as “dramatic”.
yea, sex ensues - but it’s done and shown in multiple ways and reasons: for reconciliation, (i find it really fascinating haemu likes roughness and extreme kinks as a way of accepting love and reflecting his own value), for being there for someone to make them happy, etc.
also for people saying: just go to therapy - shit is NOT that simple people suffer for years because it’s so hard to ask for help - js because someone goes to therapy doesn’t mean everything’s solved, one has to make the effort to be better, to acknowledge their problems, which someone like haemu - WILL STRUGGLE WITH because he already doesn’t want help . running away (like he did) can be a avoidance coping thing, he thinks everything is better without him - he’s a nuisance, etc etc.
TLDR: this story isn’t dramatic, is actually pretty good in characterization, haemus problems won’t disappear like thin air with therapy + sex is used effectively for characters imo
bye like gen omg
