I do agree on the points people are making about the plot/romance being all over the place, but the most frustrating thing for me is how many pages are dedicated to talking about tea!!
I’m at chapter 51 and it’s chapter after chapter people testing different kinds of tea and going “ahh it’s aromatic”, “ahh it’s fruity”, “omg it’s so fragrant" it’s so repetitive and getting boring tbh
Compared to all the other plot points that could be explored, like her character development and all the issues she had, her job, or the fact that she’s from a different world, or building a relationship with her husband/friends etc etc, it’s going nope let’s mostly talk about different kinds of tea!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
That’s what everyone is saying my dude that’s the problem, every thing magically gets solved by drinking tea or just gets brushed off!
I don’t care that there’s information about tea, but the issue is “the title” literally outweighs anything else (drama, romance and the non existent fantasy)
In fact the genre prolly should be something like food/drink/history/horticulture
Yessss, I've begun skimming tho the chapters because of this! I understand that the title is literally about tea but thats that, it's just something to grab your attention and give you a little taste it's not something that should be constantly focused on at least this far in the story because at this point this whole story is about tea, literally if we cut out the chunks that talk about tea we would be reading basically a comic strip in the funny section of a news paper (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Please give us more character development if you wanna talk about tea, make a small section at the bottom of the story for that, where you can reference back to each tea that's brought up and give it deeper facts and stories. That way you can have your tea facts and whoever likes learning about it can still have a chance to read about tea
LMAO I feel so conflicted cuz I actually enjoy, in an unexpected and really deep way, all the talk about tea and I LOVE the colors and drawings for teas... AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE TEA IRL PLS, but now I wanna try tea all because of this. BUT. I agree with all these comments and I can't stop laughing cuz y'all right, hence I'm conflicted
Oh well, in the end it's a relaxing story with not so many complications nor dramas, too happy and easy going but that's soothing and necessary from time to time. Like a good and relaxing cup of tea... Jkjkjk
I think I’ll probably drop anything translated by this group from now on.
1- these translations aren’t legal to begin with, so I don’t understand why you’re trying to gain fame from it!
2- why you’re uploading on a different platform then? You want to leech off of this website and redirect the the traffic to your own?
Sorry but NO thanks!
did you even read their notice? before telling that they did it to gain fame
What notice? Stop defending their shitty stunt. They’re redirecting people to discord to earn cash off their illegal translation.
To put it into perspective...its actually mangago leeching off the scanlators and making money from it haha.
And we're all here just because it's convenient and we're lazy people who aren't willing to spare the time to individually visit the scanlator's group site to support them, who did in fact spend the time to do the leg work.
You are wrong on so many levels because:
1-You can use Adblock here
2- It’s even worse when "fans" from the community, trying to make money off of a mangaka/author’s hard work (if you want to get paid for translation do it officially)
3- Why would someone in their right mind help pay for stolen work when they can support the actual author?
4- mangago doesn’t edit the art and say “pay me so I‘ll remove my watermark which I put on this stolen work"
5- mangago doesn’t go on other mangareader websites advertising their own website.
6- scanlators are completely free to upload where ever they want, mangago (or it’s community) is not forcing anyone to upload here, if any group feels like people are leeching off of them they can simply stop posting here...
Also forgot to add this, it’s not that people are lazy but it’s unrealistic to except them to check like 10 different websites (because every group probably has a specific preference) every night to see if there’s any update or news!
websites like this have been around for decades, have a huge library from different genres and over time built a functioning notification, comment system or better interface to read webcomics etc
It’s natural that most people would be more drawn to them.
I think Sangwoo is still alive, he’s been transferred by the police or something, which is why Seungbae was so confused by the hospital staff!
Maybe he was actually the guy in the elevator...? But likely he was never there in the first place!
I dunno but I think something’s fishy, it’s either this or maybe some other huge twist?
This felt so anticlimactic!
Alright...but wtf is wrong with that psycho old woman? Shes like “I heard a patient desperately calling out a name, I asked him who it was? but he wouldn’t answer SO I KILLED HIM (=・ω・=)
No no not my satisfaction, these past chapters were so vague, I think Koogi wanted to show it from Bum’s perspective and why he ended up where he did, otherwise nothing makes sense!
For one Sangwoo’s a serial killer police can’t just drop him at the hospital and go!
And there’s the old lady... is this a mental hospital? No.
A home for old people? No
Even if she’s crazy Why is she able to freely walk to other people’s rooms? (And it’s supposed to be a protected room too) It doesn’t add up at all!
Or maybe they got tired of the story and did a poor job at finishing it fast, we’ll see I guess...
@Anonymous
sorry for the late reply if u see this, I didn’t get a notification for some reason !
I meant more then it being in our culture it’s discrimination and a much deeper issue than just sweets.
(I’m Asian myself) and as a minority, I’m well too aware of all the wrong ways you can be a man(or woman) !!
I’m saying ppl (especially some westerners) just brush it off as "culture", but in truth many of these behaviors are downright homophobia /prejudice, and just because it’s done by foreigners doesn’t make it alright.
Sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia etc regardless of wherever on this planet they’re done, are not culture, they’re "lack of culture" .
This story is so light hearted tho, it’s more of a "scary looking dude with a heart of gold, afraid he’s gonna scare ppl off" trope, rather than the messed up things u see ppl do in real life!
Celestials are a weak race yet Luhak is crazy strong
Mc is weak af yet he is 1st rank in tower (dungeon) with almost twice the levels of 2nd place lol
The writing is so contradictory and inconsistent
But that’s not even the annoying part, it’s that Mc doesn’t even “try” to put up a fight, half of the chapters are just him shivering and crying for no reason…
Also don’t come at me with the “he’s support”
Have you never seen a pro support owning dps?
Bro just threw a cheesecake lmao
He only has 3 moods: brooding, crying, sick and shivering
Dude no, he's full on support, i read the novel. All of his skills raise stats, heals AND only has one attack skill. MC is an archer but the manwha skipped that part. We'll never get to see him use a bow and arrow in the manwha cus that part of him happened in an arc from the novel that was basically scrapped in the manwha. MC is also completely different in the novel anyways, novel readers gets introduced to MC while he had to survive the new world without the help of the duke. It's like 1 volume and a half's worth of getting to know him, the other players and how he grows attatched to him.
Where to read the novel please?
Booktoki, search the manwha korean title on there and just use the auto translate button. There's no fan translation or official so you'll have to MTL. It may be a bit incoherent but it's still leagues better than the manwha, all it has going for it is the art.
Thanks!!! ₍₍ ◝( ゚∀ ゚ )◟ ⁾⁾
But that’s what I’m saying, why not give him skills/spells? Or at least a strong personality?
I think it’s a poor choice because the entire plot can be summed up to “the friends he made along the way” especially since it’s in an Isekai setting/video game where it’s supposed to give people more freedom and power to be not constrained by reality
Idk imo maybe they laid the “damsel in distress” a bit too thick ¯_(ツ)_/¯
That's what you're not getting. It's been laid out several times that celestials are WEAK and are only known to have SUPPORT skills. It's a rule already laid out to the world and the story is not the type where the MC can just force through the game to cheat and get stronger beyond. This is NOT, I REPEAT, not an infinite power scaling cheat type of isekai becuase it's NOT. You're not gonna get some type of shit where MC all of the sudden gets a surprise cheat skill that defies game rules.
Idk why you think isekai/video game type of stories have to be some sort of power fantasy type of shit for you but you're not gonna get that story here. I think you completely forgot that the game MC was playing is a kingdom building, npc raising, relationship development type of game, you never played those kind of games? It's all about making sure your kingdom survives another day and defending it, just that the manwha added relationship building like dating sims. We're already 20+ chapters in why do you still not understand that this isn't the same kind of stereotypical cliche isekai cheat, power fantasy type of manwha? God i've had enough defending this stupid ass manwha, you even completely ignored me mentioning that the manwha fucked up the novel plot, making MC different. Anyways you'll dislike the novel anyways cus you only prefer one type of isekai.
Sorry I’m not gonna read all of that
We don’t like it, I don’t understand why you’re insisting on changing our mind? Even getting aggressive over it lol
You like this kinda trope? This kinda character? Good for you continue enjoying it and ignore us
