Lol. I get what u mean. For me, I just found it kind of interesting at first Cuz i like criminal psychology and such. However my sympathy for Sangwoo is due to the fact that his twisted morals and confusing behavior is due to the fact that his childhood upbringing was not really normal. He probably didn't mix with normal ppl well and growing up as he did, he finds normal ppl to be boring or stupid ( well, he is not completely wrong, most ppl or adults in this manhwa are A-holes and stupid
╮(￣▽￣)╭). And if ppl still hate either Bum or Sangwoo, they just completely missed the whole picture. Their loss.

I feel the same his up bringing and his parents made him highly likely to develop serious problems. I dont feel sympathy for Sangwoo currently but I do towards his past. I know it would take something major to make Sangwoo feelings towards Bum to change.

I still hate him. No sympathy for the sick, lol.

Agreed, I also found it sad because things like that do happen to people growing up. Maybe not to that extreme, but psychological damage is something that can't be fixed magically. I can't blame him, he doesn't know any better. Yes he isn't a good person, but he wasn't raised in a healthy environment. He is obviously not going to be all right in the head. Not that being sick justifies his actions. It just is a different way to look at it. He doesn't know how to treat others, he doesn't want to be close to others but at the same time he seems to crave the affection, like what his mother gave him. I tend to see into things like this and develop an understanding. I want to become a psychologist one day, which is another reason why I have this perspective. (/ ￣_￣")/

This manga seems to be great for actual psychoanalysis. And even though its not a field I study in, psychology is interesting to me, because I like to understand the mind of ppl who have different perspectives than others. Especially of ppl like Hannibal or Sangwoo. Its a shame to evaluate these charecters morality from black or grey perspective.

They think differently than normal ppl, so, normal thinking doesn't really apply to them. While Hannibal is actually very different from Sangwoo. Also if u know abt H.H. Holmes, and there is a documentary being made this year called the American Ripper. It seems he wrote some journals during his lifetime which after a female researcher of H.H. Holmes describes the killer as "charming".

Why is there such a contrast between who they are and what their character or perosnality is inherently interesting. Sangwoo also is well loved and is quite charming, its impressive that it's a lie he lives almost all the time he spends with normal ppl. However, though might be mistaken as a sociopath at first, but he can gradually see that he is capable of real kindness although he doesn't really trust Bum easily and thus tested him time and time again until Bum failed his last test. Many r surprised why Bum is still alive and does it raises more questions

Sorry I am rambling, lol, I have too much of morbid curiosity abt such things. And i guess thts why I don't get blinded by negetive emotions while reading or watching such works or shows. And this manga brings the nerd out of me.ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
