this story made me weirdly uncomfortable and i can't exactly figure out what it is that gave me the ick. probably some things left unexplained such as kana calling naho average, prioritizing aoi and hakusa and leaving naho in the dark, being afloat to the bullying situation naho was going through, and such and such. more than kana doing his best to distance naho from being sociable out of jealousy, this couple's dynamic is not very romantic and it is borderline grooming even with them both being minors. i know it's not confirmed but it's almost like kana made naho subconsciously emotionally dependent on him.
after reading some comments i feel like people are exaggerating a bit by saying mc got problematic child-like physical traits. to me he just looks like a what he's supposed to be: a 17 year old unwilling femboy. i could see people got annoyed by the amount of shota/loli fanservice on suicide boy (idk i'm not reading it) but this one just seems to be like your typical high school comedy "spicy" shounen ai. y'all read yaoi and probably have had contact with several stories where mc is a small, innocent and vulnerable uke protected by notoriously big seme, a very very VERY common trope. how is il tak supposedly shota design more alarming than the bullying and sa situation and underage smoking???
Yeah I agree, him being tiny is the main problem in the story, not something that is glorifying and they all are the same age, my cousin have a boyfriend of Asian ethnicity (we are European) and I (a woman) have similar height and weight to him (I'm 170cm and 60kg) and he isn't short for asian standards but he looks tiny compared to some guys our age from my country, he also doesn't behave child like (like loli and shota do) he is just a short boy ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
