You know the stories where uke likes seme, and whether they’re already in a relationship or not, there is always this one person (boy or girl) who clearly has hots for seme but seme thinks no big deal of it and ukes feels inferior and depressed and instead of communicating with seme, uke resolves to be “better than” competition and show them until competition “sees uke’s resolve” and feels like they can’t compare (as if they should even be messing around with people already in a relationship, it’s not about who loves who more but who is in a relationship with who) and gives up on their own without seme input until after the fact.

I just want to read a manga where the leads act like actual people in a relationship and talk it out among themselves. In a relationship where a third party wants to perform without an invitation, I want whoever attracted said third party to be the one to show them to the door. Why does the other person in the relationship have to fight what their SO attracts when they’re already in a relationship to “prove their love”? I think it’s SO’s responsibility to take care of it, of course in clear and irrefutable manner to avoid any misunderstandings.
