Might be because he never showed those flags to MC, but irl it's like dating someone in the mafia. They may not be bad to you, until you do something they don't like and all of a sudden you know how capable of bad things they are.
WooWon really got on my nerves from start to the end. I read this manhwa from its release right up to the last chapter and ever since Woowon ran off asking for some space Iāve had a bitter taste in my mouth regarding him againāsomething I thought Iād "gotten overā attributing it to my mindset back when the series was first coming out. Now that itās over I decided to reread the whole thing to see if my dislike was just a silly grudge but it really wasn't; I honestly just can't deal with characters like WooWon. I know Seo An isn't easy to deal with eitherāhe wants everything his way and tries to fix things quickly even when no one asked for his helpābut Woowonās behavior is incredibly frustrating for me as a reader: refusing to share whatās happening or express his feelings, hiding everything heās going through, failing to stand by his word, refusing to let anyone help with easily solvable problems, and running away the moment things go wrong. I understand his trauma, but personally, I couldn't handle him. I don't get how Seo An manages itāhe is such a strong-willed person and having his pride constantly bruisedābecause itās always WooWon running away and Seo An chasing after him, never the other way around. Honestly... well, I actually really liked the manhwa despite my harsh criticism of Woowon. Between chapters ~40 and ~70, he wasn't always so annoying or stressful, but at times it became almost unreadableāespecially from chapters ~15 to ~30 and from chapter 90 onwards. I really hope we get side stories soon to see how they handle life from here on out, because even though the manhwa has ended, it feels like *NOTHING* was actually resolved other than the death of Woowonās father.
