i just feel like with how things are going, it’s going to be boring? first off, gilbert was introduced as the no. 1 swordsmaster or smth but can’t even hold a few minutes against the fl (i get that she has that potion but come on rlly? against someone supposedly very strong?) the pacing is also very fast, the ml got attached too soon given his personality. what im trying to say is their character descriptions don’t fit with what they’re doing. still i LIKE IT, i think it’s fun and i think that i will enjoy it more once they actually focus on the ml and fl’s relationship

I’m not sure he really wanted to ever hurt her hurt her. I mean… maybe at the imperial ball but the grand duke stopped him so.
At any point after that he never threatened her again, and the time when she met him alone on the horse I think he more meant to intimidate her.
Cause the entire time it’s been about him using her for his own gain. Killing her doesn’t make much sense.

CRAZYY how the player/cheater ex-husband here is more likeable than some other male leads out there! i dont necessarily like the father but i dont hate him either, in fact i feel more icky with the son as of now bc he’s too pushyy :// and how come my nonchalant, baddie, sex watcher fl is easily persuaded by him haha

i feel like crying bruh T^T this was the 36th c-novel that i read and finished! (yes, i have a list of c-novels i’ve finished reading hehe) and to finally see it in a manhua is making me wanna tear up ohhh T^T my first one ever was “rebirth on the doors to the civil affairs bureau” hoping other c-novels get a chance too!
the king described lars as selfish, but the prince is the selfish one here, wanting to have everything nice all to himself but doesn’t do anything to improve himself. like he wants a capable partner but is he capable?
