08/01/2024: MGo was one of my safe spaces when I was struggling with mental health. The mangas/manhwas Ive read (and are still reading), and the people Ive met will always have a special place in my heart. I am all better now and I'm ready to pursue what life has ahead of me, and I think with that, I wont be active as much here anymore. SO HEAR ME OUT PLEASE!!! I saw this manhua everywhere when it's just only a few chapters long. You know what? I ignored it. I ignored it for two reasons. First, because it's historical. Back then, the only historical bl i've ever read is Painter Of The Night because I wasn't really a fan. But damn, when I started Mo Dao Zu Shi, i can't get out anymore of these historicals anymore. I read more historicals until I get to this story. Now, for the second reason. I don't really have a great trust to China itself. It's where Covid-19 started. I am a Filipino as well and there's this issue about the West Philippines Sea's real owner and China is claiming it is theirs. To inform you, I was really triggered by this issue. Like I am a little patriotic to my country. So, China WAS a no-no and manhua WAS a no-no (except for here u are). But damn it! You know what? After reading this manhua and staying in heaven official's blessing tiktok, i literally said "YOU CAN HAVE THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA." I-
