We'll have to see the following panels in the next chapter to be sure it's heading that way, but imo there are two possible scenarios for next chapter :
- Jaehee pulls off, and have a real conversation with Huilin.(or she just pass out lol)
or
- Jaehee doesn't do anything but she shows she is feeling bad, Huilin see it and doesn't take it further, and they have a talk another day after Jaehee cleared her thoughts.
If you remember Chapter 56, and even many chapters before, Jaehee hints that she needs to overcome her relationship with Huilin, because it's toxic and only something she uses to get away from reality. In order to become a better person she will have to put an end to it for good.
Another thing giving credit to this, is that in this chapter she thinks back to the question Sulhwa asked "Why did you leave Huilin?", we kind of know why but Jaehee never vocalized it, so plot-wise it's a hint it's going to be answered, and now is the perfect time.

some of y'all must have forgotten the reason why jaehee's been drinking in that shitty event. she was supposed to go on a trip with sulhwa, she wants to take a break and agreed to take a vacation and damn jaehee looks so excited about that. apparently, the moment she finished all of her works, huilin told her about the event that will be held on the same day as their vacation. jaehee can't say no. she sucks at saying no. so in the end, she agreed to go even though she was also shocked that she was the one who got assigned for that program.
the nurse knew about the reason why huilin chose jaehee, ofc that event will force jaehee to see huilin. plus the sending of the gown, which made sulhwa more sus of the two. i really am curious as to how young would react once her conversation with sulhwa comes out. she's the one who knows what huilin's up to
i remember huilin saying that every time jaehee cries, her sadist side wakes up. i think that's the reason why she kissed jaehee all of a sudden, because she gets pleasure when jaehee cries. i do not want to forget abt her intentions, and the reason why she assigned jaehee for this scholarship program, it's because this bullshit will force jaehee to see her. now that jaehee's drunk, she might completely cheat and forget abt the reason why she fought with sulhwa in the first place. sulhwa's assumptions may become true, and it's so fucking funny to think abt how jaehee denied this to sulhwa back then.

idek what she feels rn, cuz from what i can see, it still looks like she's only using huilin as her getaway vehicle. idk man, but even huilin deserves better than jaehee's indecisive ass. she's completely drunk, and there's a chance that she might push huilin away once she regains her composure. what's with those ilys with sulhwa in the previous chapters? also the part where she promised herself that she won't be selfish anymore because she might hurt sulhwa again? she even told herself that her plays with huilin, heekyung, and the others are very different when she does it with sulhwa. she said she's always focused on the play, and it was never about the person she's doing it with. but when it's with sulhwa, she's focused on sulhwa instead. not with the play, not with anything.
she might not hurt sulhwa alone, but also huilin. the fact that young has been saying that huilin is the one who will get hurt in the end since season 1 makes all of these messed up and suspicious. jaehee needs to pick and straighten her crooked convictions. she's dragging my girls down.

this is so fucking confusing. i don't understand what jaehee wants. but one thing is clear to me, she always avoids problems and escapes from them. even the author described her like this. no wonder she always runs back to huilin, it's because huilin acts as her temporary drug. there's a high chance that she'll go for the sex since she's drunk, but I want to see her reaction once she sobers up. it's either she'll admit that she still loves huilin, or she'll regret it and get eaten by guilt because she just proved sulhwa's assumptions that they're really having an affair.
we might possibly see sulhwa and young's convo in the next chapter too. i wonder if she'll give some advice to sulhwa to help her, or she'll talk to huilin about the issue since she's been trying to stop huilin from ruining sulhwa and jaehee's relationship ever since they started dating. young also hinted that huilin will regret it in the end, so this is making things more complicated.
i think huilin is the endgame. it's personal but i think we'll see the progress in the remaining chapters. not unless jaehee regrets it after going back to her normal self. she is drunk so im gonna wait for it.

there's probably a good reason why jaehee chose to end things with huilin. they're so cute back then and my heart is aching sm. i just don't feel like it's the right and best thing to do if they went along this complicated route. they both need to grow. i hope they disclose the reason why they broke up and show us sulhwa and young's conversation. we also need to see sulhwa's point of view so i can hold a better grasp of who the endgame is.
