y'all can't argue with the fact that this woman lost her only child, the only person who made her want to live. before he even died, he experienced the same shit she did (but way worse) and she couldn't get past that because she thought she was protecting him. who wants their child experiencing the same trauma they had when they were young? that's what she couldn't accept + her son dying because of it.
her son was the only one keeping her sane. losing him was her last straw. finding out about what truly happened and what drove him to do that pushed her to her limit. atp in her life, she doesn't give a flying fuck about being innocent and acting like the bigger person just because she's a grown ass woman who needs to think about what her son would've seen if he was still alive. the thing is, she wouldn't be like that if her son's still alive. THE POINT IS HE'S BEEN MURDERED AND she's only thinking about the things she can do to avenge his death. she wouldn't be all calm and nice about it and choose to just be who she has to be knowing how much his son had to put up with that. can't blame her. really can't.
in short, losing her son made her insane she'd go this far to make up for what happened.

hm yes the angst from Murasakino is just *chef's kiss" but honestly I've been following this story since it came out and the only thing I can say is that we gotta wait for Eri's point of view about all of this. We can't pinpoint anything just yet because she hasn't admitted anything about how she truly feels since she's mostly oblivious about it as well. Let's also not forget about the first panel in which it showed Eri with her wedding dress beside her, calling Kyou and telling him to attend or something. tho I'm not sure if that's Eri (but yeah i think that's her because of the hair color) SHE'S PROBABLY MARRYING A RANDOM STRAIGHT DUDE THAT'S NEITHER KYOU NOR FUYUKI.
if she does realize how she feels and they end up communicating, maybe they're the ones getting married. if they do love each other and ended up not talking about it, then Eri is probably marrying another dude. the one I'm going for is my last take because I really think Eri has no romantic feelings towards Fuyuki and she's just all over their friendship, which also ends up with her getting married to another random dude in the future.
but it kinda makes sense if you think about it this way and if the story progresses furthermore showing Eri's point of view:
Eri did want Fuyuki to stay as her friend (AKA the promise of not betraying Eri and remain as her friend forever) and she thought it was just that until she started acting weird towards Fuyuki's relationship. That's weird I mean why the fuck would u act like that if you just see them as a friend so that's like Eri's problem that she hasn't figured out yet. IF SHE DOES FIGURE IT OUT, I believe she would then realize that she's the one who slipped and fell in love with Fuyuki (since all this time SHE'S CONVINCED THAT Fuyuki doesn't see her that way because of the promise) but maybe she would be scared at that point because she's the one who asked for Fuyuki to be friends with her forever. Also, it is possible that she loves Fuyuki and she just haven't realized it yet since she thinks that's just how special their friendship is for her.
I think it's possible they did spend their lives together after the war. Ruce just probably died first, or (on a delusional level) wasn't home while Red was telling the story.

I do think Mia got her happy ending. There's no way Hyun can give up the life he built after all those years. It's just impossible for him to still choose Mia when he's been accustomed to the life he's currently sharing with the other four. His love for her wasn't enough. Mia's the type of FMC to get married and live a normal life, and that's not something Hyun can give her considering his lifestyle. I'm pretty sure Mia being successful and making her dreams come true was her happy ending; the rest would be up to our imagination.
Let me just say how FUCKING GOOD THE ART IS. I got hooked, I started reading it an hour ago and finished rn. There's not much to the story but the fluff is stuffed!!! So cute. I love them.
