It was hinted in one of the chapters that her mum might be a mermaid so the main character would possibly be like half-mermaid. And the queen wants to look pretty forever and in order to do so she needs the blood, also a plus with the fact that the queen also want a “maiden” ice mage. At least thats how I think it is (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
