Today I´ve been babysitting my six-year-old cousin. We started playing with dinosaurs and end up talking about human evolution - from monkey to modern man, even with pictures and videos. In the end my cousin asked me: How many people are living today? I told her that more than seven billion. She was quiet for about a minute and than she asked one more question: Do you count all inhabited planets or just Earth?
Seriously what would you answer?
Well, she asked about people, there is no guarantee that the beings on other planets are people, they could be super intelligent shades of the colour blue, they could be giant intelligent stick insects, so essentially 7 billion humans would be the correct answer. Plus, we don't have actual population numbers for all of the other inhabited planets.
Just Earth but there might be more! There's a whole universe out there. That's how I would answer! Give her something to be curious about!!
how a six years old child understands billion.
That's so cute. I would say just earth so far. Fuwahah
I felt nostalgic this evening so I take advantage of mine brother's absence and borrowed his room and his PC and played Heroes V. I also opened my laptop on the desk and watched a movie (more listened than watched). I played for about a hour when I accidentally spilled glass of coca-cola. On the keyboard of brother's PC. I got a little panicked but I really tried to save the situation... And spilled cup of tea. On the keyboard of my laptop. Please, kill me someone. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
sounds like a problem kisaragi shintaro can relate to
