I think that each of them are playable charectors like in most horror games if it's multi player, it gives you more endings the more players there are. One theory is that Doha is a player as well or the hidden villan but that's just hearsay. He of course is clearly suspicious and we don't know what his goal or purpose is, and I'm loving it.
