Since the author publishes this webcomic on tapastic, I think you should go reading it there https://tapas.io/episode/517687
It's TOTALLY FREE but in this way you can support the author!
After a really looooong research I finally found all the chapters of this manga in Italian, and well, it's definitely one of my favourite ones. I don't know how to describe how much I love it. I think I never cried as much as I have reading this. And every time I re-read Orpheus I feel like someone stabs me in the heart ç_ç I really hope for the english speaker that someone will translate it, because I think that more people should know about this beautiful story
do you have the link? please...
please link l will die
I don't really understand what's the problem... why should the author be upset if the translator is only translating the free chapters?
me neither... I don't understand what happened o.O
Free chapters still generate revenues through views on the Comica website.
yes I know that, but thanks to the translations people become curious about what happens the next and then go to see the raws... I don't think anyone that don't speak korean would go to see them if it wasn't for who translated that in english... It's not like what happens with lezhin, in which translations (if there is an official one) damage the artist since people don't buy coins... ._.
(wooo my english is really really bad sorry!( ̄∇ ̄") )
But all the chapters are free..
You just need to wait for it to unlock by itself.
So of course the author didn't want people to do the translations and post it somewhere else.
You made no sense. Why would the author not want the translated chapters to be posted somewhere else? The translated chapters give her more views, because from those people come to see the raws. And they are free anyways, so why?
I mean, if there were no English translation, the views would be limited to only Indonesia and Korea. But now people come to the official site to look at the authors work, people from all around the world! People from other continents like Europe, America, Australia. Heck, even from small countries like Lithania (me). Its beneficial to everyone!
If the author want it to be posted then they shouldn't have mention about illegal uploads..
Go and check the author twitter so you'll know..
And if u really appreciate the author u shouldn't have said that..
Because ppl eventually shared it on social media like twitter, instagram and else..
So there's no excuse about it.. illegal will always stay illegal.
And something like that really discourage the author.
that's exactly what I don't understand... in which way it would damage the author? It made the comic known in a lot of coutryes= a loooot of views that if it wasn't translated wouldn't have existed. It would be right saying that it damages the author if the translator posted chapters that weren't unlocked yet. but that's not the case ._. It's a completely different situation from what happened with lezhin.... there might be some other reasons that we don't know.. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
The only reason I can think of is that comica (the site 'fools' comes from) were planning to release an official English site, so that's why they don't want illegal translations to ruin the release because people might not read it because they had already read the chapters before from these translations. Or it might be they don't like aggregate sites benefiting from ad revenue? Either way, it is known that some authors will actually give permission to translate free to view webtoons or they will turn a blink eye to illegal translations. So it really depends on how authors feel about fan translations as well as the company their webtoon is published in.
"Illegal will always stay illegal." Sorry to break it to you but laws change everyday, of course i am not talking just about copyright laws specifically but all laws in general. Quick history lesson: In america in the early 1900's liquor was LEGAL and then in 1920 the sell, production, and consumption of alcohol was made ILLEGAL until 1933 and it was legal again. See laws change!
I think mangago and other aggregated sites profiting off of this series is right on the money. People are getting paid off of their hard work and they aren't, it's plain and simple.
Also, my friend is Russian, and she said that there are chapters of fools translated to Russian, which are actually locked. So maybe the author was referencing Russians. Just wild speculation.
But all in all, I think that even if mangago benefits from ad revenue and stuff, it was a mutual benefit for the author too.
yeh, theres no reason for the author to be so upset when its mutual benefit, its not like they would lose viewers on the official website, since its free koreans would still read on the official since they dont have a reason to have to go on here, same with indonesians
Doesn't benefit you if you're getting not getting your cut. They already have chapters up for free as a way to promote it. There is no agreement between these sites and Comica. Regardless of it being the Russian or English, they're still being screwed over.
But even if it is free I don't know what they're saying. They're shooting themselves in the foot by coming down on scanlators that are translating a FREE comic for NO money whatsoever. Their anger is so misplaced honestly.
You should still view the raws!!! the adds pay the artist when ever someone views the website
Here is someone translating for now

waaaa this manga is so adorable!!(≧∀≦)
and Satou is a saint hahah
And Satou is so sensible and observant, "There's been a misunderstanding. Here- let me mediate." I laughed so hard.
me too! I think everyone needs a Satou in their lives XD
Definitely. :)
Wish there was a Satou-kun in all the other manga where they have such misunderstandings ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
satou da real mvp
