Even if they were still shitty when they were adults, they're children now, and I hope they can learn instead and improve. It's their parents that are messed up because not only are they aware of their behavior, but also encourage it. Take it from someone who was a bully and bullied as a kid, children mimick their parents, and need to be taught sternly and constructively on why bullying never helps anybody.
