i don’t think it’s wrong of her to be afraid or wanting to go back, but her actions and not thought through at all. it’s clear that she has a privilege as an empress & even has the favour of the emperor. he treats her well, doesn't snap at her and even protects her but she doesn’t take advantage of it at all.
if she were more logical, she would realize that she has to take advantage of her situation and make a plan. instead of putting herself into more dangerous situations and trusting god knows who (so what if that guy is “supposedly” from the same day and age as her? people have ill intentions)

Right! i like haesol but im struggling to feel sorry for someone who keep putting themselves in situations that gets them hurt.
