i knew it was trauma but 15?… that’s horrible. i’m glad they takes things out and that they’re trying to work on his trauma together little by little. this is one of my most healthy relationships i’ve seen in webtoons, honestly. he’s a good person, just one with a difficult past. i’m sure they’ll become a loving couple and family together in time :)

i wish we had this favourability thing in real life. it’d be useful

yea i just sat there thinking about how useful it’d be. good for initial impressions, interviews, relationships in general…. you could weed out fake friendships or leave dates if you think their favourability is too low for your liking. you could learn a lot about a person just by watching their score go up and down based off of what you say or do. i want it.

also don’t get me started on the author trying to push the narrative that she is in love with him lmao she hadn’t contacted him in over 5 years through dreams. well, she never actually talked to him properly and had only heard of his brutal murder sprees. where exactly would these feelings come from if she hated his guts and had the worst impression of him from the get go? this story makes no sense. i hate how they’re trying to force romance here.
the red head guy is also weird in my opinion.

I mean, you cant be this mad over a plot thats so obvious right? She stated early on that she had fallen for the tender side of Kyle that Elain saw in her dreams. She also stated she didn't like the way Kyle operated in the real world, and wanted to separate those feelings. When she found out dream Kyle was real Kyle, she slammed the breaks hard, even though she had liked dream Kyle, because that implied that dream Kyle was all an act of manipulation. But when real Kyle started showing brief moments of dream Kyle, she was sucked back in. If you talk to people in abusive and manipulative relationships, a common phrase used is "They weren't bad all the time. I would get glimpses of the person I love and then it was like they were snatched away. But if I didn't stay, I'd never see them again." So while this story is clearly more sympathetic to Kyle then he deserves, it does show how abusive situations breed abusive people, perpetuating the cycle. Clearly Kyle is going to get a redemption arch and learn he shouldn't be such a manipulative ass, and Leonhart is going to feel betrayed and likely kidnap or try to kill Elain.

We all know that the ML is a manipulative freak that wants to hold control over everyone. but what I can’t wrap my head around, is why she would willingly put her children in danger when escaping him. jumping out of the carriage? are you serious? if the emperor hadn’t caught her son, he’d be dead. not to mention that she fell off the horse with her daughter because she didn’t plan the escape and was heading towards the cliff. the child FELL OFF A HORSE - something that would cause severe injuries to an ADULT, let alone a child. i understand not wanting to be caught by him, but if he had treated and fed them probably in the time you’ve been gone - is the risk of killing your own children by escaping worth it? it would be a terrible outcome, but it would be the safer option in the long run. he had clearly stated that he wanted a successor so WHY act so rashly and irresponsibly?
the ice caps are melting, just like captain’s heart <3
