Right now there is no harem, only girls with crushes, but most of them are good characters with a nice development. Anyway, the MC is so good, that everything else doesn't matter xD
I'd give it a 2 or 3. It's very lowkey. There are a few simps but they are interesting and funny characters. They don't blush and go 0 iq everytime they're with the MC and the boobs aren't the focus. Ed is also really hot so I get it. lol

Aside from the amazing characterization, the plot is also very good!
It definitely goes for COOL vibes instead of wholesome… I FELT it wasn’t gonna happen from vibes only, but still in my opinion that one professor should have lived and become his mentor… FROM JAIL lol. The relationship could have been very cute and indirectly helping him through the grief process since he thought Ed was “just a hard worker but not taken” (…at the start? Then he changed his mind but I’m saying they should have kept the “hard worker rep” on him instead) cause his daughter wasn’t talented either and he thought pushing her was the problem… pushing Ed and him being successful could have made him heal a bit.
Now! The MC is very cool! Even without the gold flocking at him! I’d love to see him scheme solo sometimes too! They are dependent on him BUT NOT AS MUCH AS HE IS DEPENDENT ON THEM… they definitely are the reason he’s alive lol
Sometimes I don’t get him, like bro chill why did you murder that one maid… yeah, yeah, survival and stuff… k-knock her out instead? Tie her up?
He’s still pretty likeable, very handsome and fun!

well said. I also like that they didn't make the FLs depend too much on him. He needs all of them more because they are all more powerful. They all have different strengths depending on whatever bind he is in and can him out of trouble. Not many OP MC stories add that element.
