ch 1 is fine, ml thought he was doing the mc a favor by allowing her to go to the career of her choice with no social consequences, he def should have talked to her before but ╮(￣▽￣)╭
ch 2 is great, def thought the two girls were gonna get together, but its a SL anthology so whatevs
ch 3 is so Weird?? ok so set up is pretty good, ml has a hard time saying i love you and fl finds his shyness to be charming, until their engagement is annulled Oh No~ here’s where it gets weird: the explanation is that its tradition in the kingdom to have the entire royal family break up the couple so that whatever ‘weakness’ the ml has can be resolved (not being able to say i love you,etc.) 1. fl is a noble?? why wouldn’t she know this tradition of her country?? 2. why is the entire royal family willing to fuck with politics that come with annulling a marriage w/ a noble? 3. This is a dumb way of making the prince comfortable w/ saying ily, maybe just Talk to them???, this just plays with the fiancée’s emotions, and if the girl was slightly more headstrong would have left him in a ditch, after breaking up with her after presumably cheating on her
ch 4 is Great!! the fl is confident and competent the best qualities in a fl, and her motivation of sweets for basically everything is so cute!! this would be a great longer length manga!
actually about the one where they break up the engagement bc it's his weakness, I think the message may not have been translated properly when the manga was getting translated. I think what it meant was "we force them to face their weaknesses and his was being unable to say I love you so we broke the engagement" basically. I spent like 5 mins going over that just to understand lmao but there is still the flaw that you mentioned... why doesn't she know about the tradition... but whatever lmao it's fiction after all
