I am a bit confused. At the first chapter they say he killed someone? Is that the future and everything that's happening is what happened in the past? And they are talking about the current uke? Or this other dude that got introduced? His previous owner?? But they said he had already found his body (the previous owner??) though right? Could I get some clarification PLEASE!

So first chapter beginning is in the future and the person he apparently killed is the main uke, Yeonjin. So most of the story/ what we are mostly seeing now is probably going to be about the past between the two (Yeonjin and Moonhyuk). Now the previous owner in the red ropes was already killed before Yeonjin(main uke) even met Moonhyuk (seme) at the fighting ring.

The previous owner is the man with the red shirt red tie in the end image and they used to have sex not sure if they were in a relationship (I still think even now he still likes him ). ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The first chapter is an event from the future where they are interrogating him as a suspect about the death of his boss (the one from now) since they can't have a hold of his body.

I think the majority consensus is that the ending, although a 'happy one', was not like a 'fairytale ending'. However, I think this is the beauty of this story, it is more 'realistic' and it shows that, albeit very slow, there is progress in their relationship. They admit that because they started as friends, defining their relationship is more difficult. But they know about each others feelings and it is insinuated with the straightforward response from Taehyun wanting sex at the end that they will continue to develop and grow together as a couple.
Everything Taehyun went through will take a long time to overcome and all the uneasiness he feels will take time as well, but it is the reality. He has lived his childhood brought up that way and of course such an experience it will continue to impact him for a long time. Therefore, although there was no 'fairytale ending' ... I believe it is stories like these which evokes more of our emotions and forces us to reflect on it... because I know compared to the numerous stories I have read I will always remember this one
& honestly I love this story! All the raw emotions and heartfelt moments... ahhh I love it.
So I am a bit confused over the Hugo and Hugh thing (and sometimes it is spelt as Hiu?).
The main dudes name is Hugo and he was the one who was sold off as a kid?? And his brother who was brought up as the heir was the one who killed everyone and himself. Is the (current?) Hugo living as the heir and took twin brothers name so no one would get suspicious? So what was the secret Hugo killed everyone (except that doctor) for? That his brother was the one who killed?
Sorry I think this is what I understood of someone can clarify Thank you!!!
I'll try my best to explain. Basically because Hugo and Hui were twins, the former duke wasn't sure what to do when it came to the succession so he sent Hui away and made Hugo the successor.
But then as they got older, they realized that Hugo was too nice and decided to switch them again, making Hui the heir and sending Hugo away. I'm assuming he had already announced Hugo as the heir before this so when Hui became the heir, he had to take Hugo's name.
Eventually Hugo realized that his father was just playing games with him and Hui and wouldn't stop (I'm assuming until either 1 dies or 1 becomes duke, they didn't really clearify) so Hugo came back and murdered his father and step-mom and so that there would be no debate, since Hugo was technically the rightful heir, he killed himself as well.
Hui, now going by Hugo, killed everyone who knew yes what happened that day except the doctor because he saved the original Hugo's life.
I hope that was helpful and makes sense...
Thank you so much that makes so much sense!!!! I was so confused before... thank you for your explanation!!!!!!!
