This wasn’t overly dramatic or angsty. Very refreshing imo. I’m glad the second couple got together in the end too, I know they were toxic but I like to imagine they did a lot of personal growing in their time apart (which seemed to be 3-4 years at least?) and couldn’t live without each other.
Touma should’ve been end game. Kou chose Narumi and I can’t get over it. I read this years ago and hated it, I read it again to give it another shot and still hate it. My heart breaks for Futaba and Touma. Their relationship had so much more potential. :( hate this

I can’t believe he hears them have sex, sees join leaving the room freshly showered, and needs to ask more. Stand up. You’re embarrassing me. Honestly the ML was so unlikable for me after that. My least favorite trope is “I like you and don’t know it so I’m still sleeping around but author wants to lighten the blow so the character pictures the MC while doing it” like bro it’s so lame. Just make them a manwhore all the way knowingly, or make them stop. Like stop with the half in half out

Bad translations, made worse by different groups picking it up back and fourth. Bad character building, made worse with inconsistencies in their actions. Bad romance plot, if you can call it that, she find out he’s in love with her and then the next chapter we find out they spent a bunch of super romantic nights together that we didn’t get to see until she’s reminiscing over them as she starts to distrust him. I hate how hard the author tried to make it some huge reveal that it was O who killed the parents, the back and fourth hot potato game for the blame was just all unnecessary to be written that way when we are in O’s POV. It could’ve been a much more solid story if they let us find out early on what she had done and how she was handling it and growing. Instead the author trauma dumps in the last 10 chapters for nothing. Does this author know what character development is?
Let me never read from this author again.

He wasn’t even the one to break up with the last gf, she dumped him. How am I supposed to believe he realized what he did was wrong when he was with someone else until the very end? Awful story telling AND character building. Remind me to never read from the author again
I don’t understand why the general audience is on MCs side. Bro was so annoying sleeping with everyone possible and then sleeping with his abusive ex REPEATEDLY.. like it’s so gross. I hated ML for putting up with it. Bad story with an awful MC. Just icky to read. Not my type. You guys are more forgiving than me.
