It is possible that the kid was reincarnated from Dorothy in the present. I highly believe that Dorothy is that little girl who got reincarnated. Your theory seems good but you need a strong argumentation so you can hook your readers with your theory. Also explain some things you see so that it will act as the "proof" of your theory!
