dropped it after Chapter 8. i was pretty determined to finish it since only 25 chapters, but seriously? so you date someone else to make the actual person you like jealous , but you give the person you don’t like a french kiss…especially when the person you were trying to make jealous wasn’t even there? it just doesn’t sit right with me.

i kinda hoped she stayed traumatized a bit longer to evoke more sympathy from her father.. I feel like she kinda got over it pretty quickly…i was on the verge of tears but the scenes where she gets ptsd flashbacks to her uncle (moms side) just weren’t enough to push the water out. however she did become confident at the perfect time considering how she wasn’t upset at the priest saying they weren’t related
maybe that's just how effective the family is to her, plus moments from 1-5 y/o would barely impact your life so whatever you do afetr that until 10-12 y/o maybe would last longer. her case might be different since its pure trauma but if it was changed by happy memories then i think it makes sense how she can be strong too
