One thing I have to point out is that Jooin shouldn't have said that he will think about Cain's confession, it will only be more painful to turn him down later. I don't know why everyone is confused about the situation, it's obvious that Jooin is clearly in love with Yahwi, they're endgame.
I've always been in the grey regarding Cain because if I have to say it, he doesn't belong anywhere in the story. His admittedly weird backstory and strong affection for Jooin is not enough for the latter to even think of him a romantic partner. In the end, he's just a plot device to make Yahwi's superiority shake a little, which is something that angers me because I've grown to be fond of Cain despite his lack of depth as a character. And that's not really saying much, because the others are just as shallow.
The past chapters have given me nothing but anger so I thought I should try to assess their characteristics more. But one would think 56 chapters are enough to say that they are fascinating characters, but truly, we have come this far with no progression at all.
