It just doesn't sit right with me when ukes are pushovers and have only 1 dimensional personality that revolves around the seme. But whatever, I'm still going to continue reading this lol

I'd gladly hit my head onto a wall and erase my memories just so I can re-live the sadness, pain, joy and happiness from reading this all over again.

This was a wonderful ride. Actually, I was initially pissed that Eunho kept getting the short end of the stick out of this relationship (pretty much all the chapters until 60+). But then I was relieved they made Jaeha a compelling character by unraveling his past because at least that made his journey and decisions felt real and authentic. Because if he was just breaking Eunho's heart because he's a plain jerk, his redemption wouldn't be that acknowledgable. Moreover, I realized that even though it's pretty messed up that Eunho got screwed over most of the time, I'm kind of relieved he did not give up on Jaeha because he wanted to hear and listen to his reasons and why he broke up with him. Because Eunho deserved an explanation and Jaeha did not give that to him until after 2 years past their break up. Hyesun was right, it's quite difficult to continue loving a person who doesn't trust you enough or doesn't depend on you enough to tell you their problems, that's why she divorced Jaeha, not because he was gay that she did what she did. His relationship with Eunho was bound to fail because he's not letting Eunho in, it's like there's this barrier that he was holding on strongly to bar off Eunho from reaching him. He loved him but was afraid he's going to lose him, but it's not for Eunho, but for himself. It's just a matter of time he realized that Eunho gave his everything to love him, basically his whole life, just so he could love him back and see him as not only a man but a person he could rely on.

The most surprising thing about this is that we, the readers, have witnessed most of this story from Jaeha's angle (not pov) that I was amazed of Eunho's thought process in the later part of the story (chap 60 and up). We pretty much only categorized him as someone who's in loved with someone older for his whole life and was learning from that experience that we somehow ignored his motivations and how broken his character was. It's a good thing though that he is who he is, because he is truly the type of person Jaeha needs in his life. The part that made him see that it's alright to be afraid, but never lose the will to keep moving forward and seeking for your happiness. Jaeha's ruined relationships in the past with his ex-wife, past lover, friends and family broke him but Eunho showed him that despite all of that, there's someone who's genuinely still holding onto him and ready to embrace him. Because that's just love.

I'm really glad the side characters — Hyesun, Sookyung, Hanjun, and the college friends of Eunho are around to push this story forward.

I'm at Chapter 37 and I'm quite glad I didn't slander Hanjun too much. Tbh, he was there only to piss off readers at first but I decided I'd give him a chance.

After Jaeha ended things with him, he accepted it and was mature about it. I know that he said he was calm about getting rejected because he didn't expect anything from Jaeha, but I also know that if Jaeha ever had given him a chance, he would take it. After all, it was Eunho who understood Hanjun's feelings towards Jaeha. Kind of poetic but completely made sense.

And y'all know what, I'm kind of nervous since everything is going too well but I'm still at Chapter 37 and there's like 40 chapters still left lol

Okay but can we talk about In Suh and Yool's relationship, it has a healthy dynamic no matter what's happening currently. They only had a falling out because of exterior circumstances not because they didn't love each other. They loved each other but Yool was put through ordeals because of it and In Suh acted out of his selfishness because he was afraid of losing not only Yool but everything he worked for. But despite of that, they truly loved each other. If only they had been honest with each other earlier about what they are really going through, I'm sure both of them would have been happy together. And not only being honest, if they were also brave enough to fix things, everything would have been well.

I like it when manhwas make the past love interest an interesting character and not just some jerk because it pushes you to think hard about the situation and the future of the characters.

I'm still at 20 chapters and I would have been rooting for Ye Chan and Yool only if Yool didn't have a boyfriend. He needs to sort out that part of his life first because it would only be a heartbreak for Chan if he doesn't.
