Jaehyuk spent the last 1000 chapters catering to Garam and being a greenflag that I almost shed tears after internalizing thay such manhwa exists. There were def moments where he crossed the line but his redemption wouldn't be sweet if he wasn't such a douchebag at first. I like that he gives Garam so much space now even without really knowing why Garam is distancing himself. As for Garam, the only thing that put me off was when he kicked out Jaehyuk out of the dorm they shared, forcing that guy to sleep somewhere else. Like chile, you not the landlord babe.
I'm not nonchalant like Dohu like I actually gaf a lot and have the most animated reactions over certain things despite my denial bdkandubsbs BUT I also can't recall if there was a time I was ever bullied to that extent like the first snippet they showed from his past memories. It could be just the mind's defense mechanism working but it could also be his tendency to rationalize situations and overlook their emotional impacts on him, thus, moving past his bullying experience as those are not something that affected like they normally would or that they're just merely memories that have gone by.
I don't really need the green haired guy and the purple haired guy's story tbh, frankly the former is just mean spirited. Also, I like A as his own character but his relationship with Yu Ai is just lackluster, and I know they're not blood related that's not my issue.
I love this story so much that it pains me, figuratively lol, to be aware of how much I roll my eyes whenever the said characters show up.
All this manhwa imprints on the minds of mentally vulnerable people is that in the name of love, it's okay if you go through horrible things and your mental health declines because of the actions of a person who continually denies you and sees you nothing more than an object to satisfy their pleasure with, as long as you believe they can change but at the expense of your welfare.
I have said this so many times but DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LEAVE! You do not have to carry the burden of changing these people. Indeed, there are people who were shaped by their circumstances and there are who chose to be the way they are but if there's one thing that is always going to be true, it's that their past doesn't give them the excuse to inflict pain on others. Yes, I acknowledge Yahwi's past but the choices he made as an adult were the choices he made as an independent person. Therefore, considering what happened to him and Jooin, there is no one he can blame but himself. His past doesn't amount to anything that can dismiss the mistakes he did but to merely explain why he is like that. And that's not invalidating his TRAUMA. It's not the same!
One chapter left I think and no fucking threesome will happen y'all, I'm from the future. We can only hope the author does side stories to appease everyone who waited for steamy smut scenes including all suspects.
