If you watch the prologue the black haired dude timer starts like 8000+ too, but when they finally met, it was life 400 hours left.
My theory is at that time they will met in College and their relationship starts.

This story is basically divided into two parts: 1&2 season and 3 season. The second one is completely different from the first. In the beginning it was a comedy (about dildos and sex toys... dont ask) then gang fights and later about drama. I'm not saying I didnt like this manhwa, but we gotta admit the author changed a lot of things throughout the story, The second couple in the first part has completely different vibes compared to 3 season, and I kinda missed them being silly and all. (But in some case it was better changing sum things like the whole wooden dolls ib by dildos etc) It felt like the characters' personality were being overwritten because fujoking decided to change genres, not saying she shouldnt but it was way too hasty. Like she had a project in mind then changed it at the last minute and then change it again. It feels like this story was just a maturing phase of fujoking's writing and scripting style. So read it if you want but keep in mind this

I think they meant like it couldâve been longer. Honestly I agree too, while I did find the story cute and heartwarming I also felt like the ending was abrupt and it did kinda feel like âwasted potentialâ so I get what theyâre saying.
I agree. And this is not to say that the love story itself was not good. It was great. But, the main plot revolved around the countdown and there was this big mystery and the build up to when it ends. And you kinda expect it to have more of an impact in the story. But then, it was basically just a countdown until they finally tell each other about their feelings. The friend even had a bigger impact on how they finally had courage to tell each other their feelings. I mean, the story could have continued without the countdown and it would have been fine.
I was actually expecting for time to have returned to when they first met, or something. Or, the friend had something to do with the time. Or that it is revealed that if they didn't confess within the countdown, they would not end up with each other. Or, something anything other than the current ending. (because there might be more?)
Anyway, I dunno if this is also what you meant, but this was my take on it.

Tbh I'm reading the last 10 chapters after not reading it in a year and oh well I cant understand anything anymore btw why are yall referring to the middle age guy as a potential Male lead? Isnt he just a father figure for MC? And wdym the next chapter is the last one? I really hope at least that he gets together with his first love even tho they're messed up but still I dont think ML is ever gonna be happy in the future if he's not with MC
